Betel Nut

Betel nut or Areca nut or Areca catechu is a plant that has many benefits. Areca nut can grow to a height of 15-20 meters and a diameter of 15 cm. Areca nut or the fruit of the areca nut tree is reddish brown in color and contains alkaloids and proanthocyanins which are included in the flavonoid class. That is, areca nut contains antibacterial and antiviral effects. Therefore, the seeds are often used in traditional ingredients to treat dysentery, bloody diarrhea, and scabies.
